Eating raw fruits and vegetables isn’t the new fad diet, or the brand new South Beach Diet.  Believe it or not, humans have been eating this fashion long before they had been consuming processed junky foods.  We didn’t have entry to most types of foods.  We had been scavengers, selecting fruits and consuming vegetables were a delicacy.  Nuts were also eaten for protein.  It was both that or starve.  People ate these fruits as is, no components, no cooking.  One and a half million years in the past we realized the best way to cook.  So for a half million years we ate the food uncooked, because it was intended.  We're the only animals on the planet that cook dinner their food.  Consuming meat doubled the caloric consumption of man, which made it easier to hunt and have enough vitality to do what needs to be done.
